A Wovoka initiative

Buji is a premium marketplace bridging sustainable local farmers with businesses and conscious consumers.

Why sustainable agroforestry?
By providing farmers with a platform to sell their goods, we create sustainable economic opportunities that incentivize keeping forests healthy and thriving.

Planting trees alongside crops restores ecosystems, supports wildlife, and promotes pollinators vital for food security. Agroforestry provides farmers with additional income, reducing deforestation pressure and supporting livelihoods.

At Buji, farmers are partners, not suppliers.
Buji vanilla is sustainably grown by Ugandan farmers

All of Buji Vanilla is sourced directly from farmers working with the Rural Agency for Sustainable Development (RASD) in Buikwe District on the shores of Lake Victoria.

From a base in Nkokonjeru, Uganda, Buji Vanilla works with all farmers to promote vanilla cultivation as a cash-crop that can be integrated into a diverse farming system.

We launched Buji in the Philippines!

We began launching Buji Vanilla in the Philippines by partnering with local artisanal coffee shops that share our commitment to quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing.

These partnerships highlight the exceptional flavor of our organic Ugandan vanilla in specialty coffee, pastries, and even alcohol drinks!

We are still in the early stages of this journey, and we’re looking for investors who share our belief in social equity and environmental responsibility.

While our journey begins with vanilla from Uganda, our vision extends far beyond. We aim to build a marketplace that includes products from the lands of our partner People's Organizations in the Philippines.

Support farmers and nature restoration!

By supporting Buji, you’re helping create a future where local farmers thrive, sustainable practices are the norm, and ethical products are accessible to all.
